Nikolaj Coster-Waldau & Juliette Binoche Will Say 'A Thousand Times Good Night'

Juliette Binoche,Danish actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau will be best known to most for his role as the charismatic but despised Jaime Lannister on HBO’s “Game of Thrones,” while to the few he’ll be known for his intimidating turn in “Headhunters.” But it increasingly looks like that won’t be the case for long. Coster-Waldau was recently rumoured to be competing with “Lost” vet Josh Holloway for a role in “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” and now he’s set to star opposite Juliette Binoche in the indie drama “A Thousand Times Good Night.”

Norwegian director Erik Poppe will helm the film which is inspired by his own experiences as a war photographer in the 1980s, when he found himself torn between his job and his family. However, Binoche is set to play the lead role in the film and Coster-Waldau’s role is as yet unknown. The production is co-financed by Norwegian, Irish and Swedish producers, and will start shooting in Ireland on Monday before moving on to Morocco, Kenya and Afghanistan.

Expect to see Coster-Waldau more involved in the third season of "Game of Thrones" if his role in the novels is anything to go by, and he also has a couple of interesting film projects on the horizon. He stars alongside Jessica Chastain in the horror flick “Mama” which is released in the U.S. on January 13th, and he’ll also have a small role in the Tom Cruise blockbuster “Oblivion.” We’re expecting big things from this one.
