The hype for this movie was so big that yesterday a ten-second teaser for this trailer somehow set the blogosphere on fire. We don’t get it, but then again we’re not a teenage girl invested in the choice that must be made between a vampire boyfriend or a werewolf boyfriend.
The first teaser trailer for the film understandably focuses on the apparent love triangle between Bella (Kristen Stewart), Edward (Robert Pattinson), and Jacob (Taylor Lautner). The David Slade-directed installment of the series centers around this triangle, as well as the choices and risks involved with trying to simultaneously make peace with both sides of the supernatural teams of vampires and werewolves. Right. The ensuing angst will be scored by Howard Shore this time around.
“Twilight: Eclipse” will be released on June 30th in both regular and IMAX screens, with the fourth and most likely fifth films in the series to be shot later this year. You can view the trailer and its various degrees of acting ability below.
