With the unveiling of part two in Edgar Wright’s series of “Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World” video blogs, we present to you another dissection of the all the happenings in the video.
Most importantly, the second installment provides us with the real untarnished look (at least, kinda sorta) at the gorgeous Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Ramona Flowers. Michael Cera makes another appearance and shows us more of the dry, witty humor that has single-handedly gotten him where he is today. Also in the Vlog is Bill Pope, the BAFTA-nominated cinematographer who can be seen discussing and altering lighting; Mark Webber, who plays rocker Stephen Stills talking diet; Johnny Simmons, who plays Young Neil (Yes, Neil Young backwards) showing his dietary intake; the writer of the comic Bryan O’Malley getting right in there assisting Wright with his work; Ellen Wong, who plays Pilgrim’s jilted ex, Knives Chau, professes her for love the shoot; and of course Wright who narrates the whole thing with delight and insight.
