'Peaky Blinders' Season 5 Trailer: Cillian Murphy Returns To Continue The Story Of Tommy Shelby

Without a doubt “Peaky Blinders” is up there as one of the best shows that consistently falls under the radar for many TV viewers thanks to the immense number of prestige dramas that have been released in the era of Peak TV. However, despite not capturing the headlines that series like “Stranger Things” consistently does, “Peaky Blinders” has not only found critical-acclaim but also a loyal following on both the BBC and Netflix.

Later this year, “Peaky Blinders” is set to come back for Season 5 and with it, the story of the Shelby crime family continues. The series is loosely based on the real 19th-century street gang Peaky Blinders and follows the story of Tommy Shelby, as he now is a member of Parliament. Series producer Caryn Mandabach described the status of Tommy’s psyche in Season 5 and said (via Deadline), “Tommy is more in line with Don Draper or Walter White or Tony Soprano.”
