Power Is Transferred In New Trailer For 'Homeland' Season 6

They say timing is everything, and “Homeland” is certainly utilizing its January premiere date for maximum effect, with the narrative upcoming season echoing, at least in broad strokes, what will be happening in the United States.

Yep, an election looms large in the season six of the hit show, as Claire Danes‘ Carrie Mathison returns home from Berlin, and starts aiding Muslims in New York City. And it looks like this next batch of episodes is going to push some big buttons, tackling the treatment of Muslims in the United States, how we define terrorists, and the ethics of trying to “pre-emptively” stop terror attacks, by rounding up potential criminals.

It sounds all to close to home and “Homeland” will get the ball rolling on January 20, 2017.
