Raaaaaaaandy Calls Out Rappers For Not Delivering Their Verses, Mixtape Is Delayed

As we announced back in December Raaaaaaaandy (aka Aziz Ansari) was working with TV On The Radio’s Dave Sitek, The Have and DJ Granwizerd on a mixtape that was supposed to drop this month, and with only a few days left to go, you might be wondering, “where is it?”

Well, Raaaaaaaandy has an answer: rappers are missing their deadlines. Following a quick video update a few days ago (which you can watch below) Raaaaaaaandy has dropped “Aaaaaaaangry,” a pretty funny new single that hit the web yesterday. In the diss track, Raaaaaaaandy calls out the likes of Eminem, Drake, Dr. Dre, Ludacris, Jay-Z, Clipse, DOOM, Wu-Tang Clan, Mos Def and Kanye West for not handing in their verses on time. RZA drops by at the end of track to pontificate on why a comedian is even doing a mixtape at all. So we’re all just going to have to wait a bit longer for this mixtape, but since most hip hop albums are pushed back about four times before their released, we forgive Raaaaaaaandy for the tardiness.

As fans already know, Ansari has a host of projects lined up with new best bud Judd Apatow, including a “Raaaaaaaandy” movie (which Quentin Tarantino will be first in line to see). You can also watch Ansari on NBC sitcom “Parks & Recreation” which we can’t pimp enough. It’s easily the funniest thing on TV right now.
