'Real Steel' Soundtrack Features New Tracks By 50 Cent & Timbaland; Tunes By Beastie Boys & More

The rock ’em, sock ’em futuristic fighting robot movie “Real Steel” swings into theaters this weekend, and tomorrow the soundtrack will drop with some tunes to get you pumped for the pugilistic pic.

Running thirteen songs strong, while we may not be big fans of the artists involved, there is no doubt the primary aim of the songs selected is to get the adrenaline flowing. To that end 50 Cent and producer extraordinaire Timbaland have contributed brand new songs to the movie in the shape of “The Enforcer” and “Give It A Go” respectively. To make those kiddie ears don’t hear any cussin’, Beastie Boys and Eminem deliver edited cuts of “Here’s Of A Little Something For Ya” and “Till I Collapse.” Meanwhile, alterna-rock fans will be able to raise their fists to tunes by Foo Fighters, Limp Bizkit and Tom Morello (including “One Man Army” with Prodigy originally featured on the “Spawn” soundtrack). Rounding things out is “Kenton” from Danny Elfman‘s score.

The soundtrack drops physically and digitally on October 4th and movie lands on Friday, October 7th. Full details below. [via Movie Moron]
