Netflix is pulling out all the stops for TUDUM, their big global event basically hawking and showing off all their wares. The streaming studio is beyond being an underdog in the world of film and now they’re getting into the realm of gigantic blockbusters. Sure, they’ve done that already with films by Michael Bay, etc., but their latest film, “Red Notice,” looks to be their biggest, mass-appeal giant-sized film yet. And the pull and power of Netflix is most apparent in the star wattage of this film: it’s gigantic. Three of the biggest stars in the world feature in “Red Notice,” Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot, and Ryan Reynolds. That’s no joke.

Directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, he has quickly become Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s go-to filmmaker, having already directed him in “Central Intelligence,” and “Skyscraper.” While he started out in comedy (“DodgeBall: A True Underdog Story,” “We’re the Millers,”), with “Skyscraper,” Thurber proved he can launch the Rock into the sky with big, epic escapist cinema. If you’re unclear about the movie, it’s essentially a globe-trotting caper movie about a worldwide alert to hunt and capture the world’s most wanted. Johnson plays the FBI’s top profiler and Gadot and Reynolds) play two rival criminals. The three of them get into the mix and things go south in a good way.
Netflix has released a new clip featuring the trio fighting over an item in a museum with Gadot’s character kicking major ass.

Here’s the official synopsis:
“When an Interpol-issued Red Notice — the highest level warrant to hunt and capture the world’s most wanted— goes out, the FBI’s top profiler John Hartley (Dwayne Johnson) is on the case. His global pursuit finds him smack dab in the middle of a daring heist where he’s forced to partner with the world’s greatest art thief Nolan Booth (Ryan Reynolds) in order to catch the world’s most wanted art thief, “The Bishop” (Gal Gadot). The high-flying adventure that ensues takes the trio around the world, across the dance floor, trapped in a secluded prison, into the jungle and, worst of all for them, constantly into each other’s company. The all star cast is joined by Ritu Arya and Chris Diamantopolous. Directed and written by Rawson Marshall Thurber (Central Intelligence, Skyscraper) and produced by Hiram Garcia, Dwayne Johnson and Dany Garcia of Seven Bucks Productions, Beau Flynn’s Flynn Picture Co. and Thurber’s Bad Version, Inc., Red Notice is a stylish globe-trotting game of cat-and-mouse (and cat).“
Netflix will release “Red Notice” globally on November 12 and you can watch the new clip released during TUDUM below.
