Director Denis Villeneuve was joined by Rian Johnson in Los Angeles on October 8th following a screening of “Blade Runner 2049” for a conversation about the brainy blockbuster. Villeneuve sympathizes with Johnson who has to go deep on the film only moments after seeing it, but they delve into some spoiler talk about the plot, the making of the movie, and what’s it like to direct secretive franchises.
