Rumor: Details On Felicity Jones & Scoot McNairy's Roles In 'Star Wars: Rogue One' And 'Batman v. Superman' Surface

Felicity Jones, Star WarsIf you need a bit of rumor mill whispering to get your week started off right, a couple of fresh ones concerning "Star Wars: Rogue One" and "Batman V. Superman: Dawn Of Justice" are here you for to ruminate on. As usual, potential spoilers ahead, so read on at your own discretion.

On last week’s Meet The Movie Press podcast, Heroic Hollywood‘s El Mayimbe revealed that he’s heard that Felicity Jones will be playing Boba Fett’s daughter in "Star Wars: Rogue One." Timeline wise, it doesn’t quite make sense, since the movie takes place approximately twenty years after "Star Wars: Episode III — Revenge Of The Sith" (when Boba was just a kid himself) but hey, a few script tweaks could smooth that all out. I hope that this rumor isn’t true, because that sounds like a terrible idea.

Meanwhile, Heroic Hollywood is also confirming long running rumors that Scoot McNairy is playing Jimmy Olsen in "Batman V. Superman: Dawn Of Justice." However, in a twist consistent with Zack Snyder‘s dark, destruction-filled world, evidently Olsen’s legs were injured when they were pinned under rubble during the climatic battle of "Man Of Steel," and as Slashfilm previously reported, he now uses prosthetics. However, he’s not angry at Superman for the loss of his legs, and sees him as a hero who saved the world. Now that’s an interesting notion.

Both movies drop in 2016 so there’s plenty more rumors to come. Hit the comments with your thoughts.
