Samuel L. Jackson Says Elizabeth Olsen Set For 'Avengers 2,' Paul Giamatti Says He's Back For 'Spidey 3'

While there is still no official casting for “Avengers 2: Age of Ultron,” probably because the movie is still a considerable time away from hitting theaters, it looks like Marvel is getting their ducks in a row. Unless something goes horribly wrong, Aaron Taylor-Johnson is pretty much set to play Quicksilver in the movie, with Elizabeth Olsen long rumored to play his sister, Scarlet Witch. Well, consider that rumor confirmed?

Samuel L. Jackson was recently chatting with the Wall Street Journal when he let this little nugget drop about the super sequel. “I don’t think we begin shooting before March of next year,” he said. “I know we’re shooting in London, that James Spader is Ultron and going to be the bad guy, and that we added Ms. [Elizabeth] Olsen [who will play the Scarlet Witch], but I don’t know what she’s doing, if she’s on the inside or the outside. I haven’t seen a script.” So there you go.

Meanwhile, continuing in the vein of sequels, Paul Giamatti has let it be known that his Rhino in “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” will be sticking around for at least one more movie. “I think I’m only doing the next movie, I don’t think I’m in the next-next movie,” he told Collider. And really, that’s not much of a surprise, especially considering Marc Webb stated earlier this year that the character would only be a “tease” with Jamie Foxx‘s Electro as the main villain.

So there you go, some minor updates on some big movies that will be crowding up the multiplex for the next few years.
