According to Deadline, San Sebastian is set to see screenings of highly-anticipated features such as Terence Davies’ “Benediction,” starring Jack Lowden and Peter Capaldi, Lucile Hadzihalilovic’s “Earwig,” Claudia Llosa’s “Fever Dream,” Claire Simon’s “Want to Talk about Duras,” and Inés Barrionuevo’s “Camila Comes Out Tonight.”
All of those films come from filmmakers that have previously screened films at the prestigious festival. In addition to those names, there are debut features such as Alina Grigore’s “Blue Moon,” Zhang Ji’s “Fire On The Plain,” and Tea Lindeburg’s “As In Heaven.”
As mentioned above, considering the scheduling, not all of the above-mentioned features will be premieres, as some will likely go to other events before. However, that doesn’t take away from the fact that San Sebastian is already shaping up to be yet another premier festival in 2021.
