In case you haven’t heard, Spider-Man is back, baby! Don’t believe us? Well, we’ve got the photos to prove all the J. Jonah Jamesons of the world wrong and there’s nothing you can do about it. Entertainment Weekly have somehow managed to get the elusive Spider-Man on film and shared 13 brand new photos of Spidey and his friends (or, really, his enemies). So, if you have been looking for your daily Spidey fix, no worries, we’ve got just what the doctor ordered.
The photos mostly consist of the villains that the web-slinger will be facing in “The Amazing Spider-Man 2.” We get to see Jamie Foxx’s Electro character, who appears to be all charged up and ready to go. Dane DeHaan looks incredibly creepy in his Green Goblin getup; it will be interesting to see how different DeHaan is from James Franco, who played Harry Osborn in the Sam Raimi trilogy. DeHaan’s a pretty intense actor but just how convincing of a villain is he? We’ll find out soon enough.
Meanwhile, we’ve also got a couple of photos of Paul Giamatti as Rhino. What’s more threatening: the rhino itself or Paul Giamatti’s face poking out of the rhino suit? Tough call. Either way, it looks like Spider-Man will have a lot on his plate. Will any of those three villains be able to stop him? Probably not, since he’s contractually obligated to appear in two more movies.
