The dystopian series “See” is coming back for another season. The Jason Momoa-led project utilizes sci-fi themes to tell the story of a father’s quest to save his children. Much like last season, the goals remain one step ahead of the complications that face Momoa’s Baba Voss. Unfortunately, this time one of the greatest obstacles came from something all too real; COVID caused the set to shut down completely. As a result, it would only finish filming in March of this year.

In season two, the great Baba Voss is storming into new territory to confront an old enemy, his brother (presumably played by “Guardians Of The Galaxy” actor Dave Bautista who is new to the cast). “See” remains committed to using cast and crew with low vision or blindness; it’s a detail that has helped the series achieve realism as it avoids all too common stereotypes. Momoa himself honed his skills with the help of echolocation, using a blindfold to cover his eyes as he listened for reflected sound. “The less dependent you are on your eyes, it’s like your skin feels more. You walk into a room, and you can feel an object approaching you,” the actor told EW. “You’re echolocating so you can hear sound bouncing off things. And the more you train for it, you become this ultimate warrior because your senses are so heightened, and you’re not dependent on your eyes. All of the fight scenes are so different because you don’t have vision.”
