Timothée Chalamet (“Call Me By Your Name”), Elle Fanning (“The Beguiled,” “The Neon Demon“), and Selena Gomez (“Spring Breakers”) have been confirmed as the leads for Allen’s next film. Chalamet and Fanning were revealed to have offers for the picture a couple weeks back, and it looks like everything has come together. There’s no word on the plot as of yet, but it’s been a while since Allen has made a film with leads this young (19, 21, and 25 respectively).
Amazon Studios has already snapped up the rights to the picture, and while there’s no release date, you can set your watch to the fact that it will in all likelihood be released next year.
