The cameos that aren’t quite cameos keep piling up for Paul Feig‘s "Ghostbusters." Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Annie Potts and Ozzy Osborne are all slated to appear, though the series regulars will not be reprising their roles. Instead, they will be playing new characters. And now another name is being added to the list.
Paul Feig announced on Twitter this morning that Sigourney Weaver (aka Dana Barrett in the original movies) will be in his reboot. Of course, his role is under wraps for now, but like everything else involved with this movie, we’re sure those details will leak out soon enough.
Meanwhile, Feig also took some time recently to call out fanboys who are continually moaning about the new movie and essentially told them that since they actually have no idea what he’s putting together, they should just chill out. Sound advice.
"Ghostbusters" opens on July 15, 2016.
Gang, trying to keep surprises but this is about to leak, so I’ll tell you myself: the awesome Sigourney Weaver is going to be in our movie!

You all have no idea what we did, so stop acting like you do. Enough is enough. Just let this movie happen. #enough https://t.co/lBZGHaNEbz
