We’re sure you’ve already heard the massive buzz, but believe the hype: “La La Land” is truly one of the best movies of the year. Dazzlingly executed, beautifully performed, and filled with enough emotion to make your heart burst, they truly don’t make ’em like this anymore. And a new international trailer has landed highlighting more of the movie’s magic, though if you’re already excited, I’d say you might want to hold off and just go see the movie.
Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone are the magnetic leads in “Whiplash” director Damien Chazelle‘s latest, about a couple of Los Angeles dreamers with big ambitions, trying to keep their love alive in a city that can test your spirit. Here’s the official synopsis:
Written and directed by Academy Award® nominee Damien Chazelle, LA LA LAND tells the story of Mia [Emma Stone], an aspiring actress, and Sebastian [Ryan Gosling], a dedicated jazz musician, who are struggling to make ends meet in a city known for crushing hopes and breaking hearts.
