SNL Skit Attempting To Mock Diablo Cody So Painful It Makes You Want to Wish For 'Juno 2'

Seriously, is this what constitutes as parody these days? So during Ellen Page’s Saturday Night Live intro this weekend, Andy Samberg playing Diablo Cody, interrupted the “Juno” star asking her why she didn’t go with the monologue she had “written” for her.

What ensues is a painful, one-trick pony show of unfunny blog and pop culture references. This could have been funny.

Most Diablo Cody parodies are weak (see the useless and unfunny Funny or Die one) and this one was no different. People, when you’re trying to skewer someone, you’re not doing yourself any favors if you can’t actually make the dissings funny. Someone needs to put Andy Samberg out of his misery (or perhaps just SNL as a whole).
