Ah, Jon Mulvaney. The mysterious information gatekeeper of all things Criterion can be a crafty fellow, often playing coy with what titles the boutique label will release, but occasionally he will drop some solid info.
A reader (who kindly shared this info with us, thanks!) recently dashed off an email to Mulvaney to inquire about a couple of titles and received this exciting reply in his inbox: “We hope to release [Steven Soderbergh’s] ‘Solaris’ and [Guillermo Del Toro’s] ‘Cronos’ in the near future, but don’t have exact dates set yet, so stay tuned! :)”
