There will probably be no movie this summer with a marketing campaign as controlled as the one for “Man Of Steel.” Why? Two words: Christopher Nolan. The executive producer seems to be bringing this Batman levels of secrecy to the movie, with the plot still pretty much under lock and key, and with only a couple of trailers appearing so far. As for official stills? We’ve been reduced to magazine scans as Warner Bros. keeps everything in their vault for now, so the pics below will have to suffice.
But these latest from Total Film at least offer up a bit more than Henry Cavill and Amy Adams posing for a Sears portrait. In fact, we have Superman walking away from some serious destruction with lots of smoke, a burned out car and a destroyed 7-11 (far right, squint) all smoldering. Meanwhile, there’s some behind-the-scenes stuff with director Zack Snyder and the cast, and a brief look at young Clark Kent in a barn or something.
We’ll let you unravel the clues in the comments section. “Man Of Steel” flies into theaters on June 14th. [via io9]
