SXSW Exclusive: Meet Davina In Clip From Romantic Drama 'I Believe In Unicorns'

I Believe In Unicorns

SXSW is upon us, with the festival kicking off today. And while there are plenty of starry attractions and movies, it’s always worth keeping a good eye on the smaller films making their way to Austin. And one to keep your radar tuned to is Leah Meyerhoff‘s debut feature, “I Believe In Unicorns.”

Starring Natalia Dyer, Peter Vack, Julia Garner (“Electrick Children,” “The Perks Of Being A Wallflower“), Amy Seimetz (“Upstream Color,” “The Sacrament“) and Toni Meyerhoff, this one tells the story of a romance that blooms between the imaginative and strong-willed teen Davina and an older boy. It’s a relationship that will prove potentially rocky, but as this clip from the film highlights, the passion between the pair is very real, as they navigate young love.

“I Believe In Unicorns” screens in Narrative Competition at SXSW, with the first screening on Sunday, March 9th. Watch below.
