Deadline reports that Sylvester Stallone will star in a new thriller from Mickle, previously known as “Godforsaken.” STX Entertainment is backing the project, penned by Daniel Casey, that follows an ex-con who has to protect his family after the son he hardly knew is murdered. “It’s a privilege to be part of something that’s going to provide entertainment and artistic value,” he teased attendees at CinemaCon about the project this past spring.
The start date hasn’t been revealed, but it seems like things are moving forward to shoot soon.
