Taco Bell Wins The Box Office, Lucas Mulls Over Indy 5, Nolan For Batman 3? Superman Shooting In 09?

Here’s some stuff we saw over the weekend we mean to post. We got stung by a bee, oww. 🙁

Taco Bell the movie, or “Beverley Hills Chihuahua” was at the top of the box-office this weekend with $29 million. So close to the election, this is a really bad sign. If you don’t understand why, we shudder. “Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist” took the #2 spot with $12 million, recouping in its first weekend nearly all its $13 million cost. In limited release, “Rachel Getting Married,” grossed $300,000 in only nine theaters. “How to Lose Friends and Alienate People” came in at a dismal 19th place with just $1.4 million despite being released on 1,750 screens. Consider that one a huuge bomb. Schadenfreude as we love the original memoir and though this looked like total ass. [Reuters]
