Terrence Howard & Dawn Olivieri Join 'Breacher' (Formerly 'Ten') With Arnold Schwarzenegger & Sam Worthington

nullThe acting comeback trail for former California Governator Arnold Schwarzenegger has been a bumpy one marred by a scandal (which seems to have been forgotten), an attempt at a completely self-indulgent cartoon, but mostly just a dearth of solid projects worthy of bringing the lumbering talent back to the screen. One project has been shaping up quite nicely, with writer-director David Ayer (“Training Day,” “End of Watch”) behind the camera of police thriller (shocker) “Breacher.” Previously known as “Ten,” the film will follow 10 DEA agents who are marked for death following a heist during an drug enforcement operation. The production recently added Sam Worthington in an undisclosed role, and now has two more recognizable faces to add to the mix.

Iron Man” actor Terrence Howard and “House of Lies” regular Dawn Olivieri will be joining the fold of Ayer’s latest cop flick, and the details on their respective roles aren’t so muddled. The two actors will play members of the DEA team who are engaged in an affair, and who plan on stealing the goods from the members of the drug enforcement heist squad. It all sounds like it could become increasingly convoluted, full of double crosses and two-timing, so let’s hope “Swordfish” writer Skip Woods doesn't get lost in his own story.

Open Road, who’ve been having success with original adult fare like director Joe Carnahan’s “The Grey” as of late, will be distributing the film domestically – and we can’t imagine a production start date is far off. The film is currently set for a 2013 release. [THR]
