You can really tell which Netflix films and TV series the streaming platform wants to make a thing. You’ll see a ton of teasers and trailers, as well as numerous other marketing materials. “The Adam Project” is one of those Netflix Originals that the streamer wants to make sure everyone knows exists.
As seen in the newest trailer for “The Adam Project,” the film stars Ryan Reynolds as a time-traveling pilot who goes back in time to team up with his younger self and his father to stop the creation of time travel and therefore, save the world. He’s joined by his romantic partner, and the duo utilizes various futuristic weapons and fights numerous faceless bad guys along the way. You know, exactly how they do things in modern action films.
And unlike the dozens of other Netflix projects that get dumped on the streaming platform with maybe one or two teasers, “The Adam Project” has been in numerous teasers and trailers with the streaming platform making sure that everyone knows Ryan Reynolds’ newest film is coming out in March. We’ll have to see if the film will crack Netflix’s internal Top 10. Considering Netflix controls the metrics, we can safely assume this film will be touted as one of the biggest ever.
Joining Ryan Reynolds in the cast are Mark Ruffalo, Jennifer Garner, Walker Scobell, Catherine Keener, and Zoe Saldaña. The film is directed by Shawn Levy, who previously teamed up with Reynolds on last year’s “Free Guy.” Previously, he directed the “Night at the Museum” films and is a producer on a number of other projects, including “Stranger Things.”
