'The Hangover' For Olds: Watch The New Trailer For 'Last Vegas'; Film Will Be Scored By Mark Mothersbaugh

nullPerhaps speaking to the dearth of roles for older actors, or the need for a paycheck, this morning Michael Douglas was honored for his turn in “Behind The Candelabra” with an Emmy nomination. And now this afternoon comes the trailer for “Last Vegas,” another movie set in the Nevada playground that finds him hamming it up alongside Morgan Freeman, Robert De Niro and Kevin Kline in a premise that is basically “The Hangover-but-with-old-people.”

Yep, in this movie, which follows a bunch of old gents in Vegas for one last hurrah before one of them gets married, you get jokes about taking lots of pills (BECAUSE, OLD!), jokes about now knowing how 50 Cent is (because he’s still apparently a really relevant rapper), old horndogs lusting after girls with giant boobs and Turtle from “Entourage” making a cameo for some reason. Good lord. Meanwhile, Mark Mothersbaugh (“Rushmore,” “The Royal Tenenbaums“) will be scoring this. It’s maybe not the first name we’d associate with this, but with “21 Jump Street,” “Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs” and other hits under his belt, along with “The Lego Movie” on his radar, we’ll keep an ear open anyway.

Currently fighting an R-rating, your parents are gonna find this hilarious when it opens on November 1st.
