Judd Apatow has produced vehicle films for many of his star players, Seth Rogen, Paul Rudd, Jason Segel, and friends like Amy Schumer and Kristen Wiig. But his super charming and funny wife, Leslie Mann, who has starred in several of his films, including “Knocked Up” and “This Is 40,” is finally getting her own starring role in a film that centers on motherhood and women.
The film will be helmed by filmmaking duo Jon Lucas and Scott Moore (writers of “The Hangover,” “The Change-Up,” and“21 And Over”). “Lucas and Moore have written a funny and heartfelt script about women and the challenges of motherhood. I am thrilled to be working with them on this film, and to collaborate for the first time with Block Entertainment and Merced Media,” Mann wrote in a statement.
