'The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel' Season 4 Trailer: The Emmy-Winning Amazon Series Returns This Month

What’s next for Midge? Fans of “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” will only have to wait a little bit longer to find out. The series is coming back for an anticipated fourth season this month, picking up right where Season 3 left off.

When viewers last saw the comic, she faced an uncertain future after losing her place on Shy’s tour. Meanwhile, Maisel is reluctantly dealing with a serious cash-flow problem — in no part thanks to Susie. What remains is anybody’s guess as Midge tries to pick up the pieces. Everything is up for grabs as the new season — taking longer to reach audiences due to COVID delays — finally hits Amazon Prime Video.

Series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino, along with executive producer Daniel Palladino, are exploring a changing world for ‘Maisel.’ The show is approaching a new decade — the ‘60s — and bringing along some familiar names to usher in a decidedly different era. Kelly Bishop, Milo Ventimiglia, John Waters, and Jason Alexander all make appearances during the upcoming season. They’ll join series veterans Rachel Brosnahan and Alex Borstein, both of which are set to return for the entire season. Tony Shalhoub, Marin Hinkle, Michael Zegen, Kevin Pollak, Caroline Aaron, and Luke Kirby also resume their starring roles.

The series’ official fourth season synopsis:

“It’s 1960 and change is in the air. Looking to hone her act, Midge finds a gig with total creative freedom. But her commitment to her craft—and the places it takes her—creates a rift between her and the family and friends around her.”
