Okay, yeah, on paper, that premise sounds really strange. But in the new trailer for “The Mysterious Benedict Society,” the idea of an older man hiring young orphans to go on a dangerous mission to stop his evil twin from causing a worldwide panic is actually kind of cute and endearing. I mean, hopefully, the audience doesn’t immediately think it’s creepy and agrees that it’s adorable because Disney+ is clearly wanting this to be a hit series.
The series stars Tony Hale, Kristen Schaal, Ryan Hurst, MaameYaa Boafo, Gia Sandhu, Seth Carr, Emmy DeOliveira, Mystic Inscho, and Marta Kessler. ‘Benedict Society’ is showrun by Darren Swimmer and Todd Slavkin.
