The Power of the Dog Takes Best Picture At 2022 Critics Choice Awards

The 27th Annual Critics Choice Awards handed out their laundry list of honors on Sunday afternoon in a ceremony hosted by the incredible Nicole Byer and Taye Diggs. The Critics’ Choice never met an award they didn’t like and all in all handed out 41 trophies across both film and television. Yes, 41 individual awards. And out of all of them, the one that will get the most FYC ad consideration over the next two weeks is “The Power of the Dog” which won four trophies including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Cinematography.

Among the laundry list of acting winners were Jessica Chastain, Will Smith, Kate Winslet, Sarah Snook, Michael Keaton, Troy Kotsur, Ariana DeBose, Melanie Lynskey, Jude Hill, Jason Sudekis, Jean Smart, Murray Bartlett, and Jennifer Coolidge.
