What would happen if you were forced to murder your coworkers in order to stay alive? That’s the basic thrust of “The Belko Experiment,” which combines the talents of screenwriter James Gunn (“Super,” “Guardians Of The Galaxy“) and director Greg Mclean (“Wolf Creek“).
Featuring a large ensemble (and of course, not all of them will survive the running time) including John Gallagher Jr, Tony Goldwyn, Adria Arjona, John C. McGinley, Melonie Diaz, Sean Gunn, Josh Brener, David Dastmalchian, Michael Rooker and more, the film is set in Colombia, where the workers at an American company operating in the region find themselves locked inside their building, and given a set of increasingly chilly and bloody commands. Here’s the official synopsis:
The Belko Experiment explores a twisted social experiment, in which a group of 80 Americans are locked in their high-rise corporate office in Bogata and ordered by an unknown voice on an intercom system to participate in a deadly game of kill or be killed.
“The Belko Experiment” opens on March 17, 2017.
