You want to see a pretty unintentionally comical and horribly bad trailer? Here’s the new-ish one for for “The Warrior’s Way” starring Kate Bosworth, Geoffrey Rush, Danny Huston and South Korean International star and pop singer Jang Dong-gun. Call it a paycheck gig for the Americans involved.
Have you heard about this thing? It’s an English fantasy action film directed by Sngmoo Lee (no credits that we can tell of, but presumably a commercial or video guy overseas) and it’s about an Asian warrior (Jang) forced to hide in a small town in the American badlands. He meets the town drunk (Rush), and a circus knife thrower played by Bosworth, both of whom have powerful secrets.
Some character posters were recently unveiled, but man this thing looks bad with a capital B. Relativity Media acquired distributions rights to this one earlier this year for some reason and it’s currently scheduled for December 3rd. Studios gotta eat, we guess.
