Tribeca Exclusive: Clip From Horror 'Preservation' Takes Cover In A Cabin

Preservation

The Tribeca Film Festival is in full swing, which means an array of quality dramas will be on display for audiences. But sometimes, you just want to feel you pulse quicken and have a good old fashioned thrill, and that’s what Christopher Denham (“Home Movie“) is hoping to provide with his sophomore directorial effort, “Preservation.”

Starring Pablo Schreiber (“Orange is the New Black“), Aaron Staton (“Mad Men“), and Wrenn Schmidt (“Boardwalk Empire“), the story follows brothers Sean and Mike Neary, along with Mike’s wife Wit, who head out on a hunting trip in the woods. But when all of their gear is stolen, they immediately turn on each other deep within this nature preserve, and it’s a tale of the hunter and hunted that takes on some new twists. And in this exclusive clip, we see the wounded Mike and Wit take cover in a ranger station, and make an ambitious plan.

XYZ Films is handling sales at the fest, with “Preservation” premiering tonight, playing as the opening film of the Midnight Section. Watch below.
