Tribeca Exclusive: Listen To "Break Up" From Tony Morales' Score For Joss Whedon-Penned 'In Your Eyes'

In Your Eyes

You would think with all things Marvel on his plate, Joss Whedon wouldn’t have time for much else, but you’d be wrong. Last year he dropped the indie Shakespearean tale “Much Ado About Nothing,” and now he’s headed into the Tribeca Film Festival as the writer and executive producer of the metaphysical romance “In Your Eyes.” And today we have a little treat for you from the film.

Produced by Kai Cole and Michael Roiff and directed by Brin Hill, the film stars Zoe Kazan, Michael Stahl-David, Nikki Reed, Mark Feuerstein, Steve Harris and Jennifer Grey in the tale that follows a sheltered East Coast housewife and an ex-con and waitress in New Mexico who all connect in ways they couldn’t imagine. Weaving the movie together is composer Tony Morales (“Hatfields & McCoys,” “The Bag Man“), and below you can listen to his evocative “Break Up” from the soundtrack, helping to power this unique film.

“In Your Eyes” premieres on Sunday, April 20th at 9:30 p.m. at SVA Theatre 1 Silas at Tribeca. Listen below.
