The closer we are to our friends, the more quickly they can become our enemies. And that seems to be the small kernel from which springs Sophia Takal‘s latest feature "Always Shine," set to make its debut at the upcoming Tribeca Film Festival. And today we have the exclusive look at the terrific poster for the thriller.

Starring Mackenzie Davis, Caitlin FitzGerald, Lawrence Michael Levine, Alexander Koch, and Jane Adams, the story follows longtime friends Anna and Beth, both actresses with varying degrees of success, who take a trip from Los Angeles to Big Sur to reconnect for a weekend vacation after years of competition and suppressed jealousies. Once alone, however, the two women’s deep-seated resentments begin to arise, causing them to lose grasp on the nature of their friendship as well as their own identities in this twisty psychological drama about obsession, fame and femininity.
