Room 104
Synopsis: Set in a single room of an average American hotel, telling a different story of the assorted guests who pass through.
What You Need to Know: A decidedly weird take on the recent popularity of the anthology series, HBO’s Room 104” allowed the Duplass Brothers to explore their darker sides. From a night of babysitting that takes a violent turn to the season’s highlight episode being presented as a beautiful ballet, “Room 104” has lofty ambitions that, for the most part, paid off in its premiere season. Season 2 returns to that world and luckily with the anthology setting, the series gets to play fast and loose with narrative structure and continuity.
Release Date: Season 2 premieres November 9th on HBO

Narcos: Mexico
Synopsis: Netflix’s acclaimed drug cartel drama returns for a fourth season as the series moves to Mexico for a brand-new story.
What You Need To Know: Netflix’s drug war series Narcos returns with its latest iteration, “Narcos: Mexico.” Diego Luna and Michael Peña lead the cast as it explores the emergence of the Guadalajara drug cartel and evolution of the Mexican drug war during the 1980s. Needless to say, this series will be a compelling and intense thriller that will look into the lives of the most infamous members of these gangs as well as those working to bring them to justice. This series ‘reset’ is a clever way for Netflix to extend the series since it was renewed for two years in 2016. A nice fit to Netflix’s ever-expanding content slate, the ‘Narcos’ series is a worthy addition to any watchlist this month.
Release Date: Season 1 premieres on November 16 on Netflix

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power
Synopsis: She-Ra, Princess of Power, leads a rebellion to free her land of Etheria from the monstrous invaders the Horde.
What You Need To Know: The quality of Netflix original series fluctuates between amazing and amazingly god-awful, but that doesn’t stop us from being excited every time something relatively fresh comes along. And sure, “She Ra and the Princess of Power” is an adaptation of a series from the ’80s, but it’s taking that familiarly and turning it on its head by infusing the series with a much needed 2018 kick from everything to the costumes being more empowering to the inclusion of LGBTQ characters.
Release Date: Season 1 premieres on November 16th on Netflix
