You can feel it, the weather is getting warmer, those chilly winter nights are giving way to the soft evening breezes of spring, and pretty soon summer will be here. And there is probably no cinema couple better suited for the hazy romance fueled by the possibilities of warm weather and endless nights than Jesse (Ethan Hawke) and Celine (Julie Delpy), and “Before Midnight” will soon be here to cap off a beloved trilogy.
Screening tonight at the Tribeca Film Festival, a new poster and a handful of fresh images has emerged from the movie. Word on the street is this is one you’ll want to experience with as little foreknowledge as possible, so all we’ll say is that this time around Jesse and Celine will find themselves in Greece, once again talking, talking and talking. But few make conversation and relationships so honest and real, and we called the film in our review from Sundance, “brave, creative… challenging, funny, painful, very present and alive.”
“Before Midnight” opens on May 25th.
