Alongside Cormac McCarthy, William Faulkner is the author of most interest to James Franco. Last year, Franco went to Cannes with his adaptation of "As I Lay Dying," which utilized split screens to capture to the many voices encompassing the story’s narrative simultaneously. And while it remains to be seen what aesthetic tricks Franco will bring to his latest Faulkner-derived project, "The Sound And The Fury," the first batch of images from the movie indicate his inclinations.
In typical Franco fashion, he’s starring in and directing the picture, and he’s also called up pals Seth Rogen and Danny McBride for roles alongside Joey King, Tim Blake Nelson, Ahna O’Reilly and more.
