Watch: 10-Minute Epic Retrospective Of 'The Dark Knight' Trilogy

Bat-fans are likely patiently awaiting the mailman or, if such a thing still exists, have already hit their local video store to snap up “The Dark Knight Trilogy: Ultimate Collector’s Edition” which arrives today. Packaging all three of Christopher Nolan‘s Batman films, the set comes packed with extras, including such nuggets as Christian Bale‘s first audition tape, that finds him wearing Val Kilmer‘s suit reading his lines to Amy Adams (watch that here). But we doubt even the most diehard of fans will have to time to rewatch all three movies in one day, so here’s another way to revisit the trilogy.

A fan has put together a ten-minute “epic retrospective,” condensing “Batman Begins,” “The Dark Knight” and “The Dark Knight Rises” into a pretty decent summation of the series. Perhaps most effectively it really captures just how big the scope was of these films, as well the depth of emotion it reached, something that most comic movies have yet to attain (sorry Marvel). And for a bonus round, after that, you can watch a video compilation of Vines by a real life BatDad, who uses the Bat-voice to get his kids to behave. Watch below. [Reddit/Geekologie]
