“Need for Speed” is on its way, and on the (w)heels of a Super Bowl spot and a slew of featurettes and clips comes… more featurettes and clips, setting up the premise (uh, driving expensive cars really fast, while a guy in a helicopter tells you where to go) and talking up the film’s roots in the massive “Need for Speed” videogame franchise.
There’s plenty from stars Aaron Paul (who used to be in some TV show that nobody really remembers anymore) and Dominic Cooper, sporting some truly extraordinary hair, and there are also plenty of shots of cars driving really fast (from Detroit to Nebraska, apparently?). What else could you possibly want? Okay, how about Michael Keaton hamming it up as a racing expert or rising star Imogen Poots letting her hair down in this otherwise testosterone fuelled flick?
