As the fate is still yet to be determined as to which version of Bong Joon-ho‘s “Snowpiercer” we’ll get stateside, France is gearing up to get the movie next month in its original form, and thus the promo gears are turning abroad. And today brings with it a couple more trailers for the movie.
Featuring a pretty stellar cast—Chris Evans, Octavia Spencer, John Hurt, Jamie Bell, Song Kang-ho, Ewen Bremner, Alison Pill—the graphic novel adaptation centers on a train hurtling through a post-apocalyptic Earth with the sole survivors of humanity on board, where revolution brews in the cars, and the class divisions still keep everyone apart. And these two new spots—which overlap in footage but are probably both worth a quick turn—highlight both the divide and the action that takes place when enough is enough.
Whether or not Harvey will get out his shears, nail clippers, child safety scissors or nothing at all is still yet to be seen, but hopefully we’ll see some version of this in U.S. theaters soon (though probably until 2014). Watch both below (one via The Film Stage) followed by a couple new pics.
