In just a couple of weeks, the "Rocky" franchise continues and gets revitalized, punching its way back into multiplexes with "Creed." It’s rather remarkable that more than three decades on from the very first film, Sylvester Stallone‘s creation continues to endure and resonate. We’ve seen the pugilist ride out various eras in American history, including the gritty ’70s, the optimistic ’80s, and the cynical ’90s, perhaps making his biggest impact during the Cold War.
