Watch: 30-Minute Conversation With Joss Whedon At Film Society Of Lincoln Center

nullAt a recent event hosted by the Film Society of Lincoln Center, fanboy fave and Marvel guru of the moment Joss Whedon was invited to come down and talk about his recently released passion project “Much Ado About Nothing.”  After being treated to a sneak preview of the classic Shakespearian tale, the floor was opened up, and Whedon took questions from the audience. This turned the discussion from the complexities of Shakespeare to the joys of all things geeky.

In the video below Whedon opens up about the possibility of returning to “Firefly” and, from the sound of things, it doesn’t seem like it’ll happen anytime soon. When asked about what other comic book character he’d like to tackle he admitted that he had a special affinity for Batman. However, one of the most interesting bits of info was that he expressed interest in trying to direct a ballet. Give him a scarf and a frumpy looking beret…yeah, we could see it happening. Watch the video below, it’s a 36 minute experience filled with plenty of geeky quirks. [Filmmaker IQ]
