Rolling into the this weekend with the only buzz coming from Simon Kinberg‘s uh, ringing endorsement, 20th Century Fox is making a last minute play to stoke some excitement for "Fantastic Four" by releasing a four-minute long, extended sneak preview/trailer for the superhero flick. And you know what? Looking at this objectively, the movie looks just fine.
Granted, there is nothing groundbreaking here, but it does seem like Josh Trank delivered what he promised to do — presenting a grounded take on four young people who are accidentally imbued with some serious powers. Yes, this much more serious than than the constantly smirking "Ant-Man" or constantly quipping "Avengers: Age Of Ultron," but maybe it’ll be refreshing to have this kind of movie in a different flavor.
