With just a few weeks left of voting to go until the final nominees are announced, the talent both in front and behind the camera of this year’s most talked about movies continue to give themselves over to the circuit. And today comes two extensive roundtable talks with actresses who have been a big part of the conversation this fall.
Variety has posted two separate, 40-minute roundtable discussions with some notable contenders. The first gathers up leading actresses Brie Larson (“Short Term 12“), Julie Delpy (“Before Midnight“), Adele Exarchopoulos (“Blue is the Warmest Color“), Greta Gerwig (“Frances Ha“) and Kathryn Hahn (“Afternoon Delight“) to talk about the movies they’ve worked on, their careers and experiences within the industry.
Meanwhile, the second group of supporting actresses consists of Jennifer Garner (“Dallas Buyers Club“), Zoe Saldana (“Out of the Furnace“), Melissa Leo (“Prisoners“), June Squibb (“Nebraska“), Julianne Nicholson (“August: Osage County“) and Sarah Paulson (“12 Years a Slave“) who relate their journeys with their respective films.
As always, it’s an in-depth look into the process and worth checking out. Watch below. [The Film Stage]
