As the "Terminator Genisys" advertising department continues to churn out material for the revamp of the franchise, it’s probably best to remind everyone that marketing teams aren’t dumb. While there has been some baying about this latest international poster and recent trailers "spoiling" that Jason Clarke‘s John Connor is *gasp* now some kind of super-evolved Terminator himself, I’d wager that’s all first act stuff. Just like how Marvel has slammed "Avengers: Age Of Ultron" marketing down our throat (4 trailers, 16 clips, and 42 TV spots) without giving up key plot points, so you can probably rest assured Paramount is playing at the same game.

"Terminator Genisys" opens on July 1st, and if there’s reason to be outraged by anything, maybe it should be over how uninteresting this looks.
