Watch: Au Revoir Simone Honors 'After Hours' & The Killers Round Up Bella Heathcote & Max Minghella In New Videos

Even though MTV doesn’t play them anymore, music videos are still being made, mainly thanks to the interwebs because a well made video can still make rounds and get in front of as many eyes as anything in heavy rotation in the olden days. With that it mind, we’ve got a couple that are worth your attention.

First up, NYC pop trio Au Revoir Simone has released a new video for their latest single “Crazy,” and it’s a pretty witty homage to Martin Scorsese‘s “After Hours.” If you’ve ever wondered what his one-night-in-New-York-City surreal comedy might look like in three minutes, this does a pretty good job. Best of all it doesn’t take itself too seriously and has the same sense of abandon as Scorsese’s flick; we think he’d dig it. If you like the song, you can hear it on their new album Moves In Spectrums in stores now.

Meanwhile, The Killers are getting ready to unleash a greatest hits album Direct Hits, but in order to give you a reason to buy their songs all over again, they’ve got a couple new ones in the package. And one of them is “Shot At The Night,” a slick little piece of pop, produced by none other than M83. Helping the neon romantic vibe is a love story starring Bella Heathcote and Max Minghella, who cross paths in glittery Las Vegas. You can own the song starting November 11th and watch both vids below. [Dangerous Minds/Pitchfork]
