The BFI London Film Festival is in full swing and a lot of great films from the festival circuit earlier in the year, like “Carol,” and “High-Rise” are getting a second or third wind. One of those pictures is Yorgos Lanthimos’ strange, but insightful sci-fi romance movie “The Lobster” — a film about a dystopian future where single people are forced to pair up into relationships and if they fail, are turned into the animal of their choice. It’s a hilariously deadpan and odd film, but it’s a interesting examination of the absurd notion of coupledom, why society forces us to mate, loneliness and much more (read our review)

The movie has a star-studded cast that includes Colin Farrell, Rachel Weisz, Léa Seydoux, John C. Reilly, Ben Whishaw, Jessica Barden, Olivia Colman, Ariane Labed, Angeliki Papoulia, Michael Smiley and many more. “The Lobster” opens up in U.K. cinemas this weekend on October 16. We probably won’t see it stateside until the spring of 2016, but some of us were lucky enough to catch it at the New York Film Festival. BFI London has released a nearly eight-minute clip of a post-screening Q&A of the film, plus lots of new images have surfaced too. Watch the clip and check out the photos below.
