Watch: Brad Gets Gets The Answer He Wants & Cage Won't Kiss Kidman In 'Moneyball' & 'Trespass' Clips

Okay, so these don’t really go together at all, but whatever, two birds with one stone. Deal with it.

First up is a new TV spot for “Moneyball” and we have to say, we can’t remember the last time we were excited by a movie about baseball, not to mention one that is about baseball statisticzzzzzz. But lo and behold, Bennett Miller‘s “Moneyball” looks to have found a way to not only be broadly accessible but also an inspirational and uplifting sports movie all in one. This latest clip does show some slightly new scenes including the closing gag with Brad Pitt teaching Jonah Hill a lesson about how to get the answers you want. Even though this writer is a one time baseball fan who stopped caring about the sport eons ago, what we’ve seen so far is bringing back those old feelings about America’s pastime. “Moneyball” premieres next week at TIFF before opening on September 23rd.

And then there’s “Trespass,” the more-or-less straight-to-video, Joel Schumacher directed thriller starring Nicole Kidman and Nicolas Cage. If you missed the trailer that adequately displayed everything wrong about this movie, perhaps this clip will help. We haven’t seen two A-list actors so obviously hitting their marks and “acting” with less chemistry and inspiration in a long time. Both looking pained to be standing there, the only real believable moment is when Cage won’t get affectionate with Kidman (you see, her character may be cheating on him or something). We can totally buy that those two would rather not get intimate. As for the rest, well, it looks every bit like the low grade production it seems to be. The movie inexplicably premieres at TIFF before getting dumped with a day-and-date theatrical/VOD bow on October 14th. [TrailerAddict/ET]
