Right now, California is suffering through an alarming drought, but let’s not forget it isn’t the only problem the Golden State has to deal with. For years and years, scientists have been predicting that it’s only a matter of time before the mother of all earthquakes — The Big One — arrives and brings devastating destruction in its path. So, to fuel your nightmares, Hollywood is bringing "San Andreas" to cinemas. A new international trailer focuses on all the juicy mayhem that we’ll be paying top dollar for at the multiplex.
In fact, even the story is pretty thin: Dwayne Johnson has to rescue his daughter, but in order to do so, he’ll need to travel across earthquake scarred California, and through the aftershocks. Buildings fall over, roads split open, and tsunamis hit the San Francisco Bay. This is nothing short of disaster porn, but then again, "San Andreas" is not pretending to be anything else.
The movie arrives on May 29th. Watch below. [Comic Book Resources]
